I’m a communications strategist who leads the design and execution of communications campaigns for progressive organizations and non-profits.
I designed and executed the first SMS program for SEIU Local 2015, one of the largest unions in the US. The program combined mass SMS, peer-to-peer messaging, social media, and innovative content to win union elections and drive direct action on legislative campaigns.
My approach combines a deep understanding of strategic planning, iterative development, and digital marketing with real world experience in the trenches of field campaigns to create communications tailored to drive your organizational goals.
My past careers include working as a reporter for the Oregonian newspaper and as a writer for the David Geffen School of Medicine, City of Hope, and Caltech. I also taught business communication at Baruch College in New York City.

My Health.™ campaign, a unique initiative to mobilize Latinos in Southern California to turn out at the polls for the November 2022 election. The campaign reached more than half a million potential voters and garnered national press in outlets such as Politico, Scientific American and KFF News.
